We promote a sound, safe, and sustainable frozen food processing industry across Malaysia and beyond.
Established in 1970, the Malaysian Frozen Foods Processors Association (MFFPA) serves as the collective voice of Malaysia’s frozen food processing industry. Representing a wide spectrum of members, from seafood and poultry to ready-to-eat meals and processed vegetables. MFFPA is dedicated to elevating food safety standards, promoting innovation, and strengthening the global competitiveness of Malaysian frozen food products.
With over five decades of advocacy and industry collaboration, MFFPA remains a key stakeholder in shaping food policies, export readiness, and sustainable practices. We work closely with government agencies, trade associations, and international partners to ensure that Malaysia remains a trusted name in frozen food exports worldwide.
In the early 1970s, as Malaysia’s food industry began expanding into international markets, a group of pioneering processors realized the need for a unified body to represent their interests. These visionaries came together to form what would become MFFPA, with the shared mission of protecting food quality, addressing regulatory challenges, and creating a collaborative industry network.
Today, MFFPA carries that legacy forward — adapting to modern challenges while remaining rooted in its original values of unity, quality, and progress.
